Close, I was riding down New River Rd when I heard the gun shot and it hit behind me...to be fair, it was a good 100 yards behind where it hit, it was just some idiot out there shooting, saw me and tried to scare me. New River is a fairly quiet, 50mph road, nice views, no shooting signs posted everywhere...only, there's never any cops, so people speed like crazy, there are long straight sections, so people drag race on it, and people in AZ are idiots and shoot everywhere.

The boat happened on Lake Pleasant Pkwy, right after I went over the 303 and it goes back to 2 lanes - there's hardly a bike lane, but I was still over quite far...no traffic coming and the guy didn't even get over. I could have slapped the boat, had I tried. If I ever see a teal ford 150 pulling a tan boat with a teal stripe down the side of it when I'm driving, I'm gunning for them. (not really)

I really didn't let it bother me and after the boat I started riding more in the road as a nice EFFUU to the idiots, let them slow down for me and pass when they have the open lane.

It was windy and I rode slow as hell, but its getting better.

just got off work, had a couple schwartz at work now watching casa de mi padre and drinking beer.

Its not even noon yet and my day already sucks. My granny put a huge dent and scrapes into the rear passenger side door of my/her car. She said it's not getting fixed for a while which means i'm probably going to have to pay for it.

Today I went for a 12mi easy ride. Knee still isn't at 100% but at least I could soft pedal. :|

Today I am making pot roast, dyeing my hair, and watching basketball. Lazy Sunday.

Today I, switched my fizik Arione from the Wabi to my Brooks swift and pushed out 64mi. The weather is FINALLY starting to warm up.

And after looking at the weather forecast, and seeing that its going to be up near 50 at the end of the week, I am super excite. Haven't been able to get out and put in a longer road ride in like two months. Closest I had to any real saddle time was an hour and a half on a trainer. And that sucked. I'll take 50 deg and windy out on a real road over an 80 deg apartment where I have to stay in the same place.

Today I tried to start the corvette. The battery didn't last the winter. Was able to jump it to get it to start, so I knew it wasn't completely gone, drove it for an hour (so much ****ing gas), but the charge wouldn't hold. Pulled the battery and hooked it up to a charger for the day. Started up better than the day it was bought.

If you've ever pulled a battery on a '67 corvette you know how much ****ing trouble it is.

Just found a website that sells reproduction sunglasses, and they have Oakley Jawbones for under $20. Not sure if I should go for it or not.

Today I put in a very productive street ride in on the dmr, feel like I'm in form for the season, so sure enough getting snow overnight through tomorrow.
