Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Today I ran some errands and locked up in one of the shoddiest racks ever in my book at dusk after work. There was a dead cable lock half hanging off the rack which itself had a few sections cut out in the area a lock would end up and a dead abus NY chain on the ground. Against my better judgement I locked up and booked it.
While unlocking a transient with a bike walked past and said "Hey nice bike" in a high pitched funny voice and I must've made his day when I promptly replied to him mimicking the voice he used.

Well... I am not sleeping today or tonight and did not get much sleep last night either.

Nothing like having a tenant who thinks it is a kind of sport to see how much you can piss me off.

And last night I told myself I was going to get a jump on a 1500-2000 word paper thats due on Thursday morning. And then I ended up at the bar until about 12, and never got to that paper. ****. Good thing I only have one class today to get in the way of that.

Well, I also work 7 days a week and am in a welding certification program. I am jealous of the kids that take 4 humanities courses and don't work.

Today I am back at work after 5 days in Brazil playing shows with some amazing people. Most of them were from the bay area so now i have to flush 'hella' out of my vocabulary. Grumble grumble as I put the fleece-lined jacket back on...

today i didnt get to do an early morning ride since it was raining, and my father decided to tell me he needs a ride to the doctor for 930 am at 1230 at night before.

was walking out to my car to drive to work and saw that the weather broke and the road dried off a bit

ran inside and changed shoes and grabbed the bike, hammered the whole ride then half a mile from work tire goes flat after a construction zone

Mediocrity Fest 2012.

I test rode a customer's CAAD10 after a tune up. 63cm frame, his fit is damn near exactly mine with saddle height and reach. I didn't want to get off the bike and ended up cruising around for 30 minutes doing hills. I'm ready join the CAAD fanboy club
