Today Strava said I hit 30 mph with 43x16. Finally seeing spin improvement, if accurate.

Cuanto cuesta la KHS? Dang, Bay Area too far. NM.
Was born to academics, been using macs solid since the 512k in 1985. I have that same weird feeling with PCs despite being a tech for a couple years there.

I love Macs. Those mighty mice suck balls, tho. Actually every Apple mouse ever made sucks.
Just gotta remember cmd instead of ctrl and I'm golden on Macs.
As an old man I had to adjust to Mac OS1 after years of DOS and similar OSes. That drove me nuts. I would scream at the damn machine to just let me type in DIR, or something!
Then a couple years later got on Win 3.11 and that was even crappier, although it still had the DOS stuff.

Put on my new VeloSolo 17T cog today. Nice piece! Pretty gold anodizing. My LBS went full gorilla on tightening the original parts, tho, so had to rotafix to get the old cog off.
Get everything tightened up, go out for a ride. Holy **** i'm flying, these guys were right about a bigger cog being faster cos you spin better... then i turned around. Tailwind became headwind. Still feels better 1T bigger up hills tho.
Then I tried a skid, sickening YARP from the cog against the (loose, after i rode on it) lockring and no skid. Sprint to tighten, coast, retighten.

last night i rode 17 miles to my buddies house but goddamn it was a hard ride, the last 7 or so miles where all uphill. today my legs are actually a tiny bit sore! been quite awhile since a ride has done that to me and i average over 30 miles a day usually.

I love my Magic Mouse. I previously swore by Razer gaming mice for design work, but the Magic Mouse has all the sensitivity, plus all the neat touch features. Rechargeable batteries are a must though.
The only thing i like about the mighty mice is the little scroll ball, those should be on every mouse, and about twice the size
The thing i hate most about them is the way the left and right click arent seperated, it drives me nuts

Those things tickle my finger. Hate them. Tilt scroll wheel on my G5 rules the universe.

Headed to vegas for christmas and today I found out there are some people there that are willing to take us out climbing at red rocks next friday....very excited. If possible we might also try to rent some road bikes and ride around there a bit.
Today I got to test the car's new Hakkapaliitas in the slush, snow, and ice and would say it hooks up nearly as well as my bike does in this kind of weather...
Being that I had fired up the car I ran some longer errands and picked up a new winter / work jacket as synthetics don't work too well when you spend your day with a torch in your hand... there is nothing like canvas for that unless you need some Nomex.
