I wonder if he could do even half that list.

Heinlein was a rough, weird, hateful mother****er. but this is a great quote.

Today while I was on my way back to the to the shop after going to the Post Office, I got yelled at by a guy on a crappy mountain bike for WALKING on the sidewalk. Apparently, I was in his way.

SpeshulEd 04-20-13 10:01 AM

Today I'm celebrating the holiday and headed downtown to do some wine tasting.

Also hope to grab some records since its record store day.

Ugh, Picnic Day is today, which means drunk students lining the streets downtown starting at 9 AM. But it's okay, there's, uh... other celebrations happening today.

Put the finishing touches on the workbench. Not shown: about 8'x8' anti-fatigue mat (so good).

RGNY 04-20-13 02:59 PM

today i cleaned bikes. many days of rain riding and the winter crud hasn't been driven off the shoulders yet. gritty. bleh.

TMonk 04-20-13 03:09 PM

today i got in a much needed longer ride

4.5hrs w a fair bit of intensity. Started the ride hungover but by 60min in I was feeling fantastic.

various styles 04-20-13 03:25 PM

Today I did a scenic 30 miles by the lake with some trail riding. Also found this "Sunny King Crit" on live stream here's link http://new.livestream.com/accounts/3...events/1987739. Race is almost over might want wait a few min.

hairnet 04-20-13 05:22 PM

I get to watch the shoot for the new Whose Line Is It Anyway. I'm pretty excited.

yummygooey 04-20-13 05:25 PM

today i rode around town for a little bit with the 35mm camera, picked up some coffee beans, didn't want to put up with the rain coming in so the ride got cut short. hopefully some more miles tomorrow... weather should be A+.

DrewShannon 04-20-13 05:57 PM

Today I ordered a new Kilo TT, my second Mercier and 3rd SS bike. I need to do a better job of making sure my bikes don't get stolen.

Dannihilator 04-20-13 08:27 PM

Today I had a remarkably unremarkable day, had a good ride on the dmr, other than that, nothing really stood out.

johnnytheboy 04-20-13 09:20 PM

Avatar boredom lately?

striknein 04-20-13 09:21 PM

Worked on the car a bit, did some homework, and put a set of Pasela TGs on the Excel. I REALLY need cash for a new wheelset, silver would look pretty amazing and shave some weight.

Alas, there's a swap meet tomorrow and I must feed the urge.

I'm always changing it.

Just took my fixed gear on some moderate trails through golden gate park at night for the first time...some short bits of rooty single track, and moderately challenging sandy/muddy sections, but mainly mellow mixed use paths. Super fun. Done it a few times easily with a mountain bike at night, but a lot more challenging fixed for sure. Kinda intense... gonna start doing that more often.

Sixty Fiver 04-21-13 02:35 AM

Finished the tune up on my car, got most of my things ready and packed, and tomorrow I am getting out of here and heading south to where the Lilacs are blooming... and where a beautiful auburn haired goddess awaits.

jpsawyer 04-21-13 08:24 AM

today I bought a Cannondale SR800 for $100 with all original Suntour Superb Pro groupset, blackNitto stem and bars, a Cinelli Volare SLX saddle and Mavic Ma40 rims laced to Campy Record hubs all in great condition. Too bad its a 60cm frame. The guy came in asking to sell the bike to the shop, but alas the manager wasn't there. I asked what he wanted for it and when he said $100 I couldn't resist. The funny thing is he had just brought that bike in for a $200 tune up with new tires and cables and housing and tape.

Street rider 04-21-13 10:22 AM

I just saw a new Lexus comercial that had a bunch of different sports in it like skiing and even a bit of cycling. One of the cyclists was wearing a sleeveless jersey and arm warmers :bang:
