Are you kidding me? Stop throwing your money away. As someone who works on bikes for a living, you should probably know what that Park chain checker tool doesn't matter at all on a single speed drivetrain (and barely even matters on a multi-speed bike).
If your chainring and cog aren't noticeably worn, which you can easily tell by looking at them with your eyes, they're not worn.
