Today I:
Awesome. I remember wanting a pair back when they first introduced the line, but they hadn't really been out long enough to get reviews from any 'serious' cyclists. The only ones I ever seen were from hipster-types, or from some guy who was complaining that he couldn't wear them because his thighs were too big.
But now I might have to drop the money on them as soon as tax time/road bike purchase is past.

I mean, compared to half of the kids here on this campus/the internet who consider 5 miles to be a 'big ride'. Hell, the cycling club I'm in, we found out about another club thats here. When we went to meet them, it was five kids who were all riding fixed, with chrome bags and Cadence bar tape. We asked if they were cool with going on bigger rides with us to have some group friendliness, and one guy said, "yea man, I did 20 miles like a week ago, so we definitely should!".
Me too.
This.
Damn. Ok. I guess in that light, I'm supa-seeryus! Next time you're in Chicago or I'm in GR, let's ride.

My errands just doubled. Seeing that I have stayed car free for so long, I plan to messenger an assignment of my sqrls downtown via bike in the bad weather. I actually look forward to that part.

Someone's got a secret admirer...
Fridays off is ****ing awesome.
So are Nation's cheeseburgers.
I really wish they made a CAAD10 with track ends.
I tried rollers this morning.

I for one hate Nation's cheeseburgers.
Tongueless syndrome is quite the issue these days. I think its the pollution causing it.
I just got some rollers (used) and set them up a couple days ago, but haven't even tried them yet. Videoing the ensuing carnage of the obligatory first crash sounds like a good idea
They weren't mine. I picked them up for Muffin Man, cause he's all the way across the bay, and the rollers were in Oakland. Just wanted to dick around on them before he comes and gets them on Sunday.
Pro tip: Don't use them backwards.
Today I just picked up the Muffs CAAD in SJ, to install some yoko for him, and swap his masterpiece for my elite as part of our weird ass complicated trade. I also went to the bike shop a couple blocks from the train station, and spent too much money. They had mavic cleats, so I cleaned them out, as well as buying a floor pump.

I used the space in between my bed frame and dresser.
Did not love teh rollers.

Best way to get started is put them close to a wall, so you can lean your elbow/shoulder on it while you pedal up to speed with both hands on the bars.
Still kicking.

Today I got done with my hell week with commuting. Still going to commute, because I like doing so, it just meant that it was the last day of this stupidly cold snap. Just plain old wore me down/out. Also am trying to figure out just why I didn't make the 930 threadless earlier.
