Circus Monkey makes one of the lightest rear hubs, but novatec beats them for front hubs. 60g front novatec, and a 190g rear CM, and you have a stupid light hubset, for pretty damn cheap.

Which wheel smith spoke? You can't go wrong with Sapim Lasers.

How much do you weigh? spoke count? I hear XR200's dont put up with much abuse.

DB14's. I've got nothing against lasers either fwiw, so I'm impartial. I don't really care or wheelsmiths nipples though. Every time I've worked with them I found them to be a bit on the delicate end.

Im pretty stocky for my height (about 5'6 1/2 not that I'm counting... Haha) but I only weigh in between 145-155 at my heaviest. I figured I'd do 28 front and 32 rear. Novatechs were my second choice, so maybe I'll mix like you suggest. Btw Morgan, do you still have that hookup through your LBS for cheap specialized saddles? Been thinking about ditching my Arione for a Romin on my Leader. I've got an old turbo knockoff on my roadie but I think I'm going to toss my brooks on it. I get sad seeing it sit in my parts bin.

Yeah, I do. Last time a checked, a couple weeks or so ago with Muff, all they had were toupes. I can't say I've ever seen a Romin there.

I do this all the time, but end up still full the next morning, coffee for breakfast.

Which is exactly the wrong way to eat if you want the word "svelte" to apply to you...

Bikes: BMX, fixed gear

Today I was a bit hungover. I'm getting over it after gatorade, water, and chips, but I have a soccer game in a few hours. ****. Last night was rad though, great party. Weather was crazy too. On the way there, it was 40 and raining. A few hour in, someone opened the front door and it was a damn blizzard outside. When I got home, my parking lot was an ice rink, and the wind had picked up enough to damn near push me straight to my door. Glad I got a few errands done by bike before all that happened.

The CAAD is too light. I lift the front wheel off the ground when sprinting.

Gotta figure out how not to do that.
