A friend of mine went to his dad's house to fix his sink while he was gone at work. Turns out that his dad was home early, and thought he was a burglar. His dad shot him. Too many of my friends/family members die...

Today I got the dmr functional again and rode it hard.

Rim wasn't cracked, so was able to save it, I just had replace 32 spoke nipples, while sapim makes good spokes, their spoke nipples blow. Guess what stripped.

There's this guy who killed his own masked son this way in what was supposed to be a prank on poor ol' pop gone wrong rather recently... it should still be in the news, google up "man kills son"

Yeah, people sometimes wonder why I'm a bit depressed. This year I've had three or four friends and family members pass, last year in May and June alone I went to seven funerals, and I've been to at least one funeral each year since I was a kid.

the gods love to punish hubris. recently mentioned my three year non-flat streak. now i've has two in as many weeks. so falls great Diomedes....

Schwalbe Marathon Plus' can suck it. i've run Rando's on the the same trail for almost a year with no problems. threw a leftover WTB Pathway on the back until i get something a little faster rolling.

only good thing is the wife has pulled pork going in the crockpot.

Received my Ingersoll Rand W7150. I put one battery to charge and said f-it, let me try the other battery fresh out the box. It took off both axle nuts like nothing, this freakin thing is strooooooooong.

Today I missed most of the Facebook fun because I was busy dancing my ass off to Big Dipper, House of Ladosha, and SSION. Queer/trans/gay rap and dance FTW. I can't remember the last time I had that much fun.

Turns out that I'd gotten bad info. He still accidentally got shot by his dad, but he was coming home late and his dad (former Chicago cop) got spooked and shot. Either way.

After that, I realized some other things about some people. It seems that the people I don't spend enough time with die, and the people I ditch them for are just lying, phony, sacks of **** that were never good friends in the first place.

I am beyond over this day. **** it all.

Not depressed, just ****ing pissed at my own stupidity. I need to go riding.
