FCU was my other choice, apart from my Pompino. A friend has one and it looks nice for the money. Enjoy!

Today I met up and bought a stem from JonSC then on the train ride back I fell a sleep and went all the way to the last stop, just now getting home.
|
Today I rode my bike for the first time in 2 months. Total was about 20 miles. My legs hurt and I'm pretty sure I'll be asleep before 9pm. LOL.
|
Today the internet in my house came back after three days of absence. Never spent so much time in Starbucks before.
|
first roller ride since last winter. dragged the 722ts down to the basement and did an hour w/ 30sec sprints every 10min.

|
Today I woke up at 4 and spent 6 hours shoveling snow around town. ****s tiring man

Speaking of which, today I: http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e2...ack/bridge.jpg http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e2...ck/mentzer.jpg Rob and I swapped bikes a couple times throughout the ride, and while the Pugsley is a great improvement in deeper snow, I understand fully why he's lusting after a Moonlander. |
Today I: finished the Rapha Festive 500 challenge.
Stats: 528.0km (328kmi), 22hr 13m of saddle time, 23,738ft climbed and there's still tomorrow's ride! Photos of today's ride: http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...84159732_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...01597672_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto..._1862791_n.jpg Tomorrow should give me at least another 60-70mi. Woot. |
Nice, congrats on completing that ride. :thumb:
Today I shoveled and got in a relatively easy 25 miles on the road. |
Today I helped myself to one of the nicest days by far since I was back here in the bay area and gave some much needed loving and catching up to my ibis mojo by riding the lake chabot bike trail in it's entirety. Bike is caked in mud but totally worth it. :)

Spent a while cleaning up and adjusting the drive trains on my Haro trail bike and the Felt. I was quite surprised at how gritty the Felt's chain ended up after 8 days of owning the bike... Hopefully the local trail will be dry enough for some off-road time tomorrow. If not, I suppose there are always more roads to explore. :ride:

I was forced to commit this travesty to my bike because I previously had not noticed how the rack was screwing with the brake

I feel your pain hairnet. My bikes wear racks and the mounting straps have been bent into some really weird shapes to clear the brake :notamused:
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=290960 It's not immediately obvious, even with the picture enlarged, but the strap on the other side of the bike twists from flat, then actually curves towards the centre of the bike to clear the brake, then curves away before clamping to the seat stay. Took much swearing to achieve that. |
I see it. I will leave it just because it looks funky.
