Today Irode the dmr hard and had a good time doing it.

Scrodzilla 01-03-13 05:19 PM

Today I noticed that Dan pretty much posts the same thing every day.

He's been that way for 11 years.

We don't know what happened to him ever since Nam.

He got his shins blown off. Hence the short seat tube.

Nagrom_ 01-03-13 05:36 PM

Today I:
A) Rode the 930
B) Threw around the DMR
C) "insert bike part" broke
D) Happy/Merry *insert holiday*

TMonk 01-03-13 06:05 PM

This happened today a few blocks from my old place, picture isn't me but whoa. Its been less than 10 degrees all day. This is the Hennepin Ave bridge in Minneapolis. A 36" water main broke and flooded the area. Almost the whole downtown area's water is shut off.

If I didn't there would be something wrong.

Muffin Man 01-03-13 07:24 PM

Today I rode 80ish miles. I stopped the strava recording early because my phone was dying.
My longest ride to date. Im tired and cold.

jdgesus 01-03-13 07:26 PM

i think around 80 miles is a the sweet spot for "long rides"

Muffin Man 01-03-13 07:32 PM

I wish I had brought food along. I had to stop a couple times after like 70 miles because I was so hungry. I finally found a convenience store at 77ish miles, and got a snickers bar and a kit kat. I also should have worn a jacket.

jdgesus 01-03-13 07:34 PM

yeah lol. food is good.

Mumonkan 01-03-13 07:35 PM

Screw all that, rule # 5

Muffin Man 01-03-13 07:36 PM

And a little more cold weather gear. I can't feel my hands or feet right now because of the cold. I'm also shivering uncontrollably right now. No bueno.
OH. And I have tan lines from my bibs now :D

Damn, I hope he was close to his destination. Brrr...

Today, I rode to work. It was cold out and my studded tires did their thing well.

Still rocking mine from the summer.

So begins a life of awkward tan line explanations?

What is the singlespeed cross bike Christian has? That thing is rad. I thought it was a Raleigh, but I can't find it on their website. Which of the B'More crew are you, by the way? I work at Gator.

Muffin Man 01-03-13 11:40 PM

I'm no stranger to weird ass tan lines. I had a super bad sunglasses tan that changed into a hat tan, with a bad bro tank tan and sock tan that are still here from Aug 11th.

And my speedo tan from last may is still here.

GENESTARWIND 01-03-13 11:46 PM

you wear speedos lololol

Muffin Man 01-04-13 12:12 AM

Its comfortable. And every guy on the swim team does, so its not a big deal.

Leukybear 01-04-13 12:14 AM

Today I went here to play in the snow:
