Only reason I made it to the wolfpack ride was because I had an exam for my class and got out early. Probably never make it again until the end of the semester.

Yeah, BFSSFG is a surprisingly small world. I met Misskaz here. Turns out she lives 6 blocks from me and has become one of my closest friends. Scrod used to sing for a band I loved when I was younger. Crazy.

I learned something new today. Haha.
A forum's the last place you figure something like that would happen though. Definitely cool.

Today:

First day in forever without rain and the streets were dry so I rode my nice roadie to work. I was so pumped about that bike and having gears that I big-ringed it the whole way. Legs are jelly now... but in a good way.

redpear, mucky, and therealfaux are all riding buddies now thanks to bfssfg haha. Small world.

today i broke a ****ing spoke and deformed the rim a bit.
FUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuu......

Had a guy ride up to me and a few friends, all of us eating breakfast on the bikes before school. He's on this sweet vintage conversion FG/SS. As he rides up to us, he says to me:

Random stranger: "Nice bike."
Me: "Thanks."
Random stranger: "You should go fixie on that, it'd be a sweet ride."
Me: "Um...."
Random stranger: "I'm new here, if I see you around, maybe we can rebuild that rear wheel so you can try it."
Me: "Um....."

It was the oddest ****ing moment in my life. Was he blind? Did he not look?

I would have just taken my water bottle out, squirted him and sprinted away. How sweet would that look.

Today I borrowed a friend's back up roadie and took a solo around the east bay... a year sure brings a lot of change. For one, when did they swap out all the streetlights around my house with slimline LED set ups? :lol:

Today I decided I'm gonna watch Prometheus in IMAX 3D. Haven't seen 3D since the 80s, IMAX in about ten years.

Today I: primed my pedals so I can spray them orange tomorrow. Should look nice on my black bike. Digging the orange on black color scheme so far. I'll throw up some pics when I get it all together.

Today I went to my first marriage counseling session with my wife. Worst experience ever.
