Did you mention my name?

There are no "bro" discounts at this shop, but most of the guys there are cool.

Performance sucks, but these people are cool, and it's tough to beat their prices.

Today I think I need a chain,

toyed around on the dmr some, then took an easy ride on the 930.

Also, spotted this bird...

The running comes easy for me. I'm doing the riding because I despise doing intervals and speed work when I train for marathons. I did the 20 miles on the bike in and around a half marathon course to encourage some of my buddies who were racing. On the flip, I can't fathom riding a century. That ***** would lay me up for a week.

A quick aside... I now understand the animosity SS and FG riders have for "roadies". The second place finisher (a good buddy of mine) had two bike ******* with him and they were definitely giving my Schwinn Madison the once over. It was great to hammer them up a couple of nasty hills.

Got that right. Putting in long miles on the bike is no easy task, but running is another animal. I'm gonna start doing plyos with this wicked set of stairs at my work, and pick up basketball and weight lifting again. Can't neglect the other body parts.

I did mention your name and they all seemed like nice guys. I wasn't really expecting any discounts but I did join their little rewards program and get back 10% (or something like that)...which will be used for misc accessories.

Fell forward off my bike from a stupid pothole while going home. -___- How the hell did I not sustain real injuries- I dont know. I actually fell on my head (thank you helmet) and thankfully my head doesnt hurt at all. 3 fingers on my left hand and my right collar bone slightly hurts. Cant put alot of pressure on my fingers, and I can move my shoulder/arm- some positions slightly hurt. Its more irritating pain that actual pain.

Today I am definitely not ready to leave San Diego. We had an absolutely amazing time here.

You should move there.

Today I realized that waking up in the morning (instead of lunch time) makes me feel like a better person.

I happen to have that same one, did you know it's been replaced/ updated* with one that has even stricter tolerances.?

Not sure if park is in some secret agreement with chain manufacturers.

Kayce 03-12-13 04:15 PM

Modern chains are so narrow that their tolerances are even tighter.

seau grateau 03-12-13 04:17 PM

And Park is in cahoots with every bicycle component manufacturer in the world.

Going to go play indoor pick up soccer again. Been too long, and I'm out of shape and really excited. Also rode to pick up a weeks worth of mail that was held at the PO, and it snowed and was windy/****ty the whole time. Loved it.

Dannihilator 03-12-13 04:55 PM

Today I put 40 miles in on the 930 with a fresh chain.

But, but, but... this is SS/FG. :p

Went car shopping. I'm sick of the Tibby so I'm gonna buy a SUV for maximum bike-hauling steez.

seau grateau 03-12-13 09:08 PM

Got my road bike cabled up, only to realize that the inner ring now rubs the chain stay. Back to the bottom bracket tomorrow.

RGNY 03-12-13 09:23 PM

the urge has been building all winter, but today i started shopping for a road bike. this way lies madness..... :)

Today marked four months since I was hit by a car while cycling. I also spent the majority of the day at the hospital for my 2nd shoulder surgery (hopefully last surgery ever). Recovery period is supposed to be from 6-12 weeks. Hopefully closer to 6 haha, since its been 4 months since I've rode.
