Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

so the 42t chainring fit perfect! im running a 16t cog and with 60mm tires that gives me 76 gear inches. : ) im very happy with my purchase. its cool the mechanic at the bike shop owned the same bike. that gives me a ton of confidence.

Homemade "Carolina style" mustard vinegar sauce over my apple smoked and pulled butt. Google "Roxy's mustard sauce" for the base, I give it a New England twist. The base Roxy's sauce is incredible though.

any of you guys monocog riders?

I want to swap out the cane creek headset for a chris king one. stem and bars will probably come from raceface, Avid discs BB7s from somewhere, but im not sure about the cranks.

i have a square taper BB atm and want to upgrade it. what are some of the dimensions I will need to focus on when ordering? should i stick with a square taper design? any and all input would be greatly appreciated...

also, the mounting for the vstyle brakes wont be used when i convert over to discs... should i grind them off? im thinking about doing that then powder coating the frame some poop brown color for security reasons.

that sounds wonderful, tonight for our 1 year i'm making my lady egg plant parmesan topped with home made marinara, three cheese tortalini in a vardi blush sauce, and then fried bussel sprouts which is my specialty if you can't already tell i'm very italian.
