Two things of note: The stock chainrings aren't very round and you absolutely must use blue Loctite on the BB cup threads (If you don't you'll work the cups loose in a week). |
My Miche chainring is plenty round and I've never had any problems with the BB cups loosening.

Seems like the pertinent question is why are you switching out the Bolt/what do you want different in the new frame?

Should I buy a Feedback stand or one from Park? Budget's about $200.

Should I buy this kashimax padded saddle ($10) for my green masi speciale fixed or opt for a black saddle (thinking about a concor or charge spoon)?

just go to a local shop and test sit saddles. Some shops offer test programs with fizik, prolog, adamo, ect... even if you cant test ride them you can atleast sit on them and get an idea of your ass's happiness. even if you know your sit bone width, that doesnt take it account to what kind of riding you do and whether you want a flat, semi round or round saddle.
for me the last saddle i had was a close fit, specialized toupe expert, i like to move around allot, front to mid to rear depending on what im doing. the saddle i have now is an older specialized bg saddle, its not flat and its comfy in one position only but hate being in that one position only plus its kind of slippery which i assume comes from it being probably a 10+ old saddle. For me off to my lbs which thankfully has test programs for multiple saddles and saddle companys. YAY! just spend the extra dollars...guessing games are lame |

Kashimax saddles are hatchets....
Been there done that with a nagasawa. |
Omniums or Sugino 75s? Going on a Dolan Pre Cursa. Slow build over wintertime.

I'm 230lbs, but going down.
Looking for a complete to buy for the spring as I'm FG/SSless now. Just for bombing around town and up to 40-mile rides. Big Block or Wabi Special? |

Should I buy rollers? I can buy a Tacx Antares for fairly cheap and the main reason would be for training core stability.

Should I get a Garmin Edge 500 even though I have a functioning computer, HRM, and I use my phone for Strava? It just seems so nice to have it all in one unit.

I actually downgraded from an 800 to a 500 because it kept bricking itself and someodd 7500 miles later it's still fine and battery lasts near forever when compared to the 800. |
Should I buy a Cervelo R3 or a Cannondale Synapse Carbon ? The goal here is to have maximum comfort on rough roads w/o sacrificing performance.

You should test them out and decide for yourself. No one here is better positioned to make that call. Personally I like the c-dale's looks better.

Should I cave and buy a road bike so I can ride with any of the bike groups in my city?
Or can I pimp out my fixed gear to make it easier to keep up? |

Pimping out your FG bike won't change the laws of physics.

Went looking for the 'Ask Scrod' thread to ask this question and noticed it was closed back in July...
But anyway I was looking to replace my drivetrain (just the Kilo TT's stock cog, chainring, and chain) this coming Spring and was thinking about the following:
|
used road rings from ebay should be a lot cheaper than $50
also that chain should cost you no more than $10, its 8 @ RG |
