Really? They seem to get decent reviews for sturdiness on Amazon (updated OP with link to the basket I'm looking at).
|
I like mine. You definitely need to upgrade the hardware though. I also had to cut and drill the struts in order to get the basket level, but you might not have that problem due to having a longer head tube.

Wald #133 I like the detachable ones. They don't really stay on unless they're loaded, but you can buy a bag of cheap zip ties and you can just cut it off whenever you don't want it.

Should I just get a street session in instead of a road ride tomorrow?

Should I build my front H+Son SL42's with a 20 hole spoke count or should I stick with 32's? I ride my bike on and off the track so I'm not so sure if I should ride with a 20 in the front when I'm on the street.

yeah, I would always take it off if there wasn't something holding it down, big fan of that option. Some bending/love helps a little. |

I've always wondered, so now's a good time to ask. What do you do in a street session?

Should I purchase my first road bike since my sister is coming from London and bikes there cost 50% the price of here...I'm considering since it's a good deal but is also a lot of money and I have too many bikes (like that exists)
I'm thinking a Canyon AL with Athena Grupo or a Cannondale Caad10 105. |
