Nope. B43's do not have a brake surface whatsoever:

Are you still debating if you should get them or not? Those wheels are jankity jank, dude. Pass.

seau grateau 03-19-13 09:07 PM

Srsly, don't buy them.

Street rider 03-19-13 09:22 PM

I mean, who the hell would say that a bent spoke was ok to ride on? Even if its 'mechanically sound', its really not, and will break sooner or later.

YoEdgar 03-19-13 09:52 PM

just picked up a 3t arx pro and currently own a 3t seat post.

now i want to pick up some drops and hoods.

Should I match brands and go with 3t ergo sum pro drops or save some money and go with the FSA wing pro compact drops? similar bars when comparing specs except the 3t bars have a little more reach.

calv 03-19-13 09:58 PM

They're both good. Go with the one you think will feel better.

Dannihilator 03-19-13 10:36 PM

Should I enter a TT?

On the 930?
Hell yeah.

Dannihilator 03-19-13 10:48 PM

I think I could do well, just need to find one.

seau grateau 03-20-13 12:13 AM

Do it on the DMR

Ahh I didn't see the first picture with the close up. I'd say they were SL42s but I own a pair of them and the ones in the picture just look like complete crap.

Leukybear 03-20-13 12:44 PM

I've worn out my gp4k's again on the roadie. Do I darest try some pro4's?

3t ergonova pro are only like $80. Same as the Wing Pro.

Aren't the Wing Pros like ~$30 cheaper?

A bent spoke isn't all that bad as long as the tension isn't totally off. Of course, it's a completely different story with low spoke-count wheels.

Yeah.

TheRealFaux 03-20-13 06:07 PM

derp

Muffin Man 03-20-13 06:32 PM

Is this a question? If it is, get lock on grips. Or you posted in the wrong thread.

I've done pump track TT's on the dmr, also done pumptrack pursuits on it as well.

TijmenK 03-21-13 09:05 AM

Should I buy a bullhorn and use it with my 25.4 mm quill stem or should buy an adapter and a new stem + a 31.8 mm bullhorn?

Or am I a fool and should I be riding drops? Or drops with a new stem? Or one of the previous ideas but with different parts?

I'm in the Netherlands and I don't want to pay $30 for shipping, so something UK or where-ever else in Europe is preferred. :)

seau grateau 03-21-13 10:19 AM

Do you really want 31.8 for some reason?

TijmenK 03-21-13 10:30 AM

Not really, but I do want a nice pursuit bar with some drop. The only 25.4 pursuit bar I've found is the Fyxation Rodeo Pursuit, which would cost about the same as a new stem with 31.8 pursuit bar, because of high overseas shipping charges.

Jaytron 03-21-13 11:03 AM

To answer your question: you're a fool and should be riding drops+hoods. :)

seau grateau 03-21-13 11:04 AM

I'd hold off. Buying two extra parts for a handlebar you've never tried is kinda iffy. Keep in mind, however, that some bullhorns can be a real pain to install on quill stems because of the tight corners.

I think drops + hoods looks sily. Plus I don't like having hoods. I ride drops with nothing and I love it.
