Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: some but not enough

"Bullhorns" for people who don't care for BS

"Time trial" for those who buy the BS

Had Nashbar BH's for years, then they got bent by a car.

Thanks for posting that info about the nashbar sale. I have been wanting to try out a pair of horns and 10 bucks doesnt seem to painful.

+1

But somehow I wound up getting a bunch of other stuff too and ended up spending more than $100!

no one brought up the term "pursuit bars"?

there are two types of bullhorns, tt and pursuit. tt has cable cutouts or other accomadations for brakes. pursuit bars are round all over. so i guess flipped and chopped falls into the pursuit category. a pursuit bar could be used for tt, but the opposite is not as likely.
