I would say stop by your LBS first and try out different size bikes. I'm not sure how the Leader's geo is so I cant comment (and I'm sure I'd be wrong anyway) but really go get checked out on one first before dropping money if you arent comfortable

Compared to most frames, the Leader 725 is really long and low. At 5'10", I'm perfectly comfortable on my 55.

Maybe hamfoh can chime in here - I know he's riding a 58.

One last thing: inseam is also a considerable factor in bike sizing. I'm 5'7" and still growing with a 30 inch inseam. A buddy of mine is 6'2" with a 30 inch inseam. So, height isn't everything.

Also, remember that you can make a small bike fit bigger easier than you can make a big bike fit smaller.

Bikes: A fixed gear, a vintage roadie and a POS.

Unless you have Frodo-like proportions, I'd be getting something bigger than a 58.

+1

Find a bike fitter that has a fit bike, like this Serotta. Basically, you bring the dimensions of the bikes you are considering, the fitter plugs them in and you sit and see how it feels.

I did this before I got my Tiemeyer as suggested by Mr. Tiemeyer. It was pretty cool. I got to feel my bike before it was ever built.
