Off work drinking with my older brother "we both work in food industry", i was a floater tonight on the line so i got off at like near 11pm so i sat dowln and drank a few black beers at gordon biersch waiting from my brother.
we stopped at the store and this is what we got. Im not a big fan of IPA's, i like a bridgeport ipa, a very lax ipa, no super hoppy extra bitter floral ****, **** kills me. bridge port is ok and the madcow on the left is mine along with the porter as im a porter/stout/brown guy.
edit: tried the firestone... has to much bitter/hoppy for me... that after taste kills me. its like lingering death for my tongue.
the chainbreaker white ipa is alright, its real smooth. it if youve read the description for it really does have a taste of ipa/wheat beer. its almost sweet and has a decent wheat beer taste with a light hops

derp derp derp beer is good.
and i apologize, we get off late and even though liquor is 24/7 our route home isnt near a 24/7 liquor store for decent beers so we get what we can from convenient stores on the way home.
If lees discount liquor was open at 1am, **** we'd be in beer heaven every ****ing night.

Hmmm...

The Alberta Springs rye whiskey is so incredibly good I might just have to pour myself a few fingers of that this evening... has very little nose but surprises you with a high note, it's incredible smoothness and then finishes like toffee on the tongue. It is mid shelf and puts a lot of top shelf whiskey to shame and is a true rye whiskey.
And only available in Canada...
