Keurig coffee

takenreasy 08-19-16 05:12 PM

Still drinking my home brewed IPA. For medicinal purposes only of course.

Shimagnolo 08-19-16 05:22 PM

Cold-brewed coffee.
For a number of years, I've prepared iced coffee in the summer.
I recently read about cold-brewing, so I tried it as an experiment, and I'm sold.
It is so smooth-flavored, that I don't even feel the need to add half-and-half.

I'm about a month or two into the cold brew kick. Makes pouring a cup in the morning and leaving the house so damn easy. Doesn't hurt that I still get the caffeine from a cold drink on these +90 degree days.

Picked up a fifth of sutty cark prohibition edition because I wanted a combination of scotch x low price x low brow x high alc. It's pretty gross but a decent buzz. Should have just got bourbon.

What else is BFSSFG drinking right now?

I stopped drinking alcohol of any kind over a year ago. Partly because of LYME disease and partly because it just wasn't doing me any good. The very weird back of the head headaches, neck problems and joint pain of Lyme are GONE and I am much happier. So my adult beverage is soda water and cranberry juice or coffee or tea of all types. Right now I am drinking coffee. Neat.

Mumonkan 03-02-17 11:36 AM

been edumacationing myself on a lot of wine lately, as a result the sense of smell on the 'ol schnozz has been fine tuned. pretty cool.

last night was some Torrontés from Argentina to accompany a heaping portion of paella

You should try it on your Lucky Charms for that authentico Irish taste, Fiddily Dee!

Frosted lemonade from Chick-fil-a!

Macallan isn't peaty. It's a highland.

My favorites are the islay lowland types - very peaty, smoky and gnarly. You know, Laphroaig, Lagavulin and the like. Tastes like distilled swamp.

Also I agree that the Macallan 12 "double cask" isn't anything to write home about.

Laphroaig triple wood was a letdown. I like the ten year. Tastes like a hospital fire.

I'm having the most ratchet beverage in existence. Hpnotiq, Midori, Malibu and pineapple orange juice.

TMonk 03-04-17 10:15 AM

the hipnotiq is a little out of place but I'm sure it was aight at worst.

right now I'm drinking a dirty chai - chai tea latte w a shot of espresso.

Yuban. Made in a $12.00 machine. Extra strong. Black. Delish.

Soda and bitters. Because the Devil's in that liquor.

...I've never heard of drinking bitters in soda. I guess with another flavor like lemon it could be OK. You're still getting a little dash of liquor though since Angostura bitters is 90 proof. :p

I just finished drinking a bottle of water.

seau grateau 03-07-17 12:59 AM

I've known some bartenders to be fans of soda with bitters.

Hanger 24 Helles Lager for me this eve.

ShiaFix 03-07-17 05:35 AM
