Do you know if the Fuji classic track always had a HiTen fork?

Yeah...I just checked Fuji's site and the new ones are hi-ten. Bunk.

Damn, the bike options for short people just get worse and worse.

Hey Scrod, asked around on the kilo thread about some pedal recommendations and the suggested Gr-9 with the steel double clip/strap combo. do you have any experience wit them? I wear a size 9 skate like Vans. Short people FTW!

I know this is a stupid question but i've always sucked with hubs how do I unscrew these axle bolts enough so I can fit them back into my buddies drop outs. I'm doing something retarted and just getting 1 to come off then having the other one stuck and vice versa I just need to back them both out about 3/4th of an inch.http://i48.tinypic.com/m68so.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/29aqu0g.jpg

this job calls for two wrenches

Loosen one, put it on bike with the wheel on the outside of the dropout.
Tight the one on the inside of the dropout http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=256663 like so Loosen both. That's very creative. Bravo. |

Thanks so much my heads not on straight today. The drop-out way was really creative but the cone wrench worked out better for me thanks Scrod and MJF.

I noticed that the steel clips you sell come in large similar to the MKS cages. After looking at some reviews I fear that they may be too big for my feet. With my size nine shoes will I be too far in the cages or will it be ok? I really just want to order everything from one place and apart from the toe clips everything else is coming from you. Retrogression FTW!

Whats your opinion on bikes with mis-matched wheels?

Scrod, don't know if you can really help, but here goes. The past week or two I started to notice a slight squeaking from somewhere around the BB cluster. At first it was just every now and then, no rotational cadence/pattern to it. But it has slowly progressed to the point where, when it does squeak, it happens multiple times, and all at about the exact same point in my pedal stroke. And whenever I backpedal, most notably when going really slowly, its louder and more pronounced. Any idea what might be causing this?

chainring bolts?

Dear Great and All Powerful Scrod,
Assuming similar shape, with cheap (we're talking $50 range here) forks, will I notice the difference in feel between a hi-ten and a cro mo fork? Is it worth the $25, or at that level are forks too cheap for there to be any difference in feel? |
