FWIW, the Vuelta Pista crankset isn't very good.
There's no quick way of finding out if it's JIS or ISO huh. The reason I ask is because I saw that also but then I also saw this from Phil Wood's website:

https://philwood.com/store/page30.html

BRS08S Stainless Steel Bottom Bracket 68/73mm - JIS
$119.00
Stainless Steel Bottom Bracket
Description: 68/73mm - JIS Length(mm): 108 Offset(mm): Sym Weight(gm):208

Am I missing something here? FWIW, here's a pic of the bb in question. I'll try and hit up the lbs tomorrow and pull out the bb to see if there are any etches on it to describe what it is, if PW even does that.

And yea, I've heard a multitude amount of reviews about Vuelta and how bad they are.

I went onto RG, put a frameset and wheelset in my cart, and set my country as singapore and it came to $189.50.

Coming back from the LBS, they compared it to their bb's and declared it as JIS. Should I try for an Andels (requires 110mm JIS) or IRD (same as Andel's) and fit it from there? I read that Phil Wood can be adjusted to fix the chainline, but can it adjust up to 2 mm to fit these cranksets? Thanks Scrod!

EDIT: Just ordered the Andel's and I'll just adjust the chainline from Phil bb

in your opinion/experience, in what order would you put these tires in terms of their "speed" (i.e. low rolling resistance)

rimbo, durano plus, rando, everwear

And I ship from the opposite side of the country, which affects shipping costs.

Hey Scrod,
Why do so many people use randos? I see so many people using them around here and some people swear by them. But in my experience they aren't that amazing.

They're extremely durable, the rubber compound is easy to skid and they last a long time. I have one on the back of my Dodici but I hate using one in the front. They can be sluggish at the recommended PSI but I keep mine inflated around 110-115 and it feels like a completely different tire.

I have a feeling a lot of people use them because the MASH guys said they're the only rear tire they'll use.

I can't really tell how warped it is from the pic but I would probably partially loosen all the spoke tension and re-tension/true the wheel.

If they were mine, I'd lace them 2X and use Lasers.

A wee bit lighter, just as strong as 3X and hella cool.

XL15s are a good choice too. Wheelsmith makes great spokes.
