That's what I figured. I kept it pretty taut, I'll just see how it unwraps and go from there. Thanks.

When will you read the first post in this thread?

Have you ever ridden either? The gazzetta is my ideal track bike. Also, do you know the price point of the classica?

Pretty sure the Classica retails for around $1200.

Definitely no-handed trackstand worthy!
#6140
Just make sure you get properly sized when you finally do score enough scratch so you don't end up with a crazy long stem making it front heavy and hard to go no handed with. Then you need to figure out how to rig a way so it makes some noise (like a brief whistle or bell) while you're doing your no handed track stands so you can draw the attention of all the sqrls in the area. That is why you want to do the track stands in the first place.

Considering tomorrow is Thanksgiving, it occurred to me that Scrod's new avatar could totally be him jigging ducks for the T-day bird...

Scrod,
Can you recommend some quality SPD pedals? Id be using them with some SPD compatible sneakers.
Thanks

What factors make a chain more silent than others? and can you recommend a good one?

Everyone seems to have differing experiences with chains but my favorites - and ones I've found to be most silent - are the KMC K710SL and Devil 101 (which I'm currently using on all my bikes). Drivetrain noise also depends greatly on what cog and chainring you're using though.
