I got a Dura-Ace cog, not sure how silent that is, but I'm sure it will last long. I'll probably look into either one of those chains.

Dear Scrod,

Please convince me not to buy one of coghouse's closeout leader* dodici garas from ebay for $235 (BIN but I can pick up w/ shipping waived).

My problem exactly. I don't want one but the price is killing me considering they were once astronomical.
But then I remembered scrod mentioned something about them being inferior stock which might be the only savior for my wallet.

Same here, I've had the item window open in my browser for a while.

This might be the Leader 722 TS of 2012.

When you had your kagero was there anything you didn't like about it? I'm only asking because coghouse ebay has em for $549 and i'm tempted to pick one up.

I liked everything about it but the saddle to bar drop was a bit much for me.

I'm apparently slower than I thought, but when did Scrod become a not-admin?

I want to expand my tool set and equipment, can you recommend any must have tools? I was thinking about a repair stand and a torque wrench.

When a moderator tells you to refrain from posting in a thread (as Siu did in post #6168), stay gone.

I can see how being a moderator takes some of the fun of being yourself and flushes it down the toilet in exchange for being deputy Interweb.

A repair stand is necessary, a torque wrench is not.

The Park PCS-10 is awesome for home use.

Hey Scrod,

What should I do about the hot yoga teacher chick who turned me down for a date but keeps wanting to talk me up every time we run into each other?
