The most reliable search term for them I've found is "dropout spacers".

It'll be a good looking wheelset that'll look good with vintage or modern frames.
Bladed spokes don't look good on anything and are just an added complication for very little return outside "looks aero" bragging rights. Unless you really need that nth-degree advantage because you are competitive within your not entry level racing class, you can generally get away with DB spokes and have a perfectly rad wheelset.

Stupid bladed spokes!

Scrod do you know a good way to deter theft of handlebars stem etc. It just seems too easy for someone with an allen key to take them in 2 seconds.Thanks.

If you find some glue that can be broken down by nail polish remover you can put little ball bearings in the holes and glue them in when you work out how you like them set. Not unbreakable but easily enough to discourage someone /not scrod

You can also use clear nail polish to hold the ball bearing in place. It will dry hard enough to deter someone but won't be as much of a pain in the ass to remove as super glue.

Thanks. How exactly do you get the nail polish out afterwords? I have also heard about getting odd shaped screw heads to replace all my normal bolts with. Not sure how easy those will be to find though.

So after removing my stem to replace it, I accidentally pulled up on the frame and the headset sorta go separated. I put it back together and now whenever I drop the front end of my bike, I hear metal hitting each other. Help?

Edit : Also, what size ball bearings should I use for the holes?

Did you make sure its fully tightened, and you are not missing any bearings?

Not sure how to make sure it's fully tightened (threadless headset). Nothing fell out when it got separated.

There are a lot of general discussion threads here on BikeForums. Just in case you couldn't tell from the title, this is the one where people ask me questions and I answer them.

If you were planning to just put a BB in the top cap screw, you should rethink that.
Someone could really easily rip your star nut out without any issue.

Put a BB in all of the bolt heads.

They've been available for a a while now but they're pretty tricky to come by. We currently have two 23s in stock.
