Dang but $125 is like 25% towards another frame already.

True.
Still an expensive issue to have. Not as expensive as needing a new frame though. |
scrod:
if i do end up getting this thing coated, is there a way to get a new headtube badge? or would you have any advice on reattaching one that presumably has crapped up adhesive after being removed?

I'm seriously considering going with a raw powerdercoat finish on my vintage Stumpjumper. A local company called Groody Bros. does powdercoat/frame modification, and if the stuff they've posted on Facebook is any indication, they do a fantastic job. Might cost a bit to ship though.

Hey Scrod I was wondering if you had any advice on installing the zero stack headset for leader. Also I was wondering if the 2013 735 headtubes were "faced" (is that the right term not to sure).

Plus the cost of getting your bb shell/headtube faced.
That being said I'm still for the idea. |

Use a headset press like you would with any other headset.
Most of the Leader frames I've seen have been good to go out of the box. |
Anytime, man!

Lol that's like 68% of the frame cost. If you got your frame in the citygrounds blowout like I did. I'm pretty sure you did.

Hey Scrod, Im about to build a new bike for my girl and I'm having a hard time finding a nice steel singlespeed frame with fender eyelets . Any suggestions .? Preferably the sub $500 range for the frameset . Oh and she wants to run the velo orange hammered fenders .

That depends on the crankset being used.

Either a 110mm Shimano UN55 or the Andel BB will be perfect.
