Hey Scrod, that fyxation frame came in and my girl is stoked . The only issue is that I guess it was supposed to come with a seatpost binder and I couldn't find one in the box . It's not a big deal I just need to know the size that I need so that I can order one . Thanks man .

Idea on largest tire that would fit on the rear of a 2013 Leader 721?

32c if you don't have your wheel slammed forward.

I'll contact Ben @ Fyxation and see about having him send one.

Is your crown race seated correctly? If so, it sounds like you may have your lower bearing upside down.

A few pics will help.

Here are some pictures of what I was talking about:

Dude, go to a shop and have your crown race installed properly.

sigh...stupid filter. star*****ers . jp

spelled correctly obviously...

Aside from the stamped logo, the crank arms look just like the EighthInch 144bcd crank and I wouldn't be surprised it was the same.

I wouldn't buy anything from them solely based on this:

Would this be a good starter fixie on a budget to see if I like riding fixe's?

The bike has all new parts, not $$$ parts but never the less new...wheels, crank, chain, etc..

It has an old (Not Brooks) leather saddle?

The guy will put new drop bars on it for me
All I need to do is add brakes ($30)

I can buy it for $100
So I would have $130 into it.

Good starter at that price?

Any help would be great,
Joel

When measuring stack height for threaded headsets, can't I just measure the steer tube and the headtube, and calculate the difference? Seems a lot less fiddly than stacking up the headset parts when they're off the bike.

You already started a thread about this.

Yes. Or you could just measure how tall the headset is without taking anything apart.

I realize I did but I was hoping u might be able to give me your opinion...

Thx....

Sorry to bug once again, one last quest Scrod.
I know the seatpost size is 27.2 on the 721, if im not mistaken.

Will the seatpost collar be the same or larger(since its wrapping around)?

Scrodzilla 01-31-13 06:27 PM

Either 29.8 or 30.0 will work.

Can you give me some motivation to get over my self consciousness about my complexion?
