Are you talking about the stupid government safety tabs on the fork dropouts ? I had to file them off on my new Bianchi Super Pista fork for the axle nut washers to chear them and sit flush against the dropouts.

Okay, problem seems to be on my end, not with the Leader fork. I have 3 sets of front (9mm) track nuts, and they are all identical outer diameter to my 10mm rear track nuts. But based on this photo of dura ace track nuts, can I presume that 9mm track nuts are supposed to be slightly smaller external diameter???

The ones I've got here (Dura Ace, Miche, Campy and generic) all have washers that are a little smaller.

All framesets sold in Japan are required by law to be drilled for two brakes. The Kagero/Renovatio framesets sold here in the US are not drilled but (as we were just discussing on the previous page) the fork is drilled and plugged in the front.

Assuming you'll be having the machine-built wheels tensioned and trued by human hands before riding on them, probably not.

QC on A23s get any better recently? And are they really weighing out at ~430g?

I just sent a few back for having a ****ty finish and the joint seams on them usually suck.

That largely depends on whether you want cartridge or cages bearings.

I'd prefer the cartridge bearings, but overall would want the better headset while keeping the classic look.

The only one I've ever personally used is the Tange Levin so I can't really have an opinion of the others.

Know of a lighter 23mm wide rim? Only one I know of is the ZTR Iron Cross, but stans advises against mounting road tires(which blows, cause its a cool ass ****ing rim. 23.2mm wide, 17.5mm deep v, nmsw.) I kinda want to try it anyway.

I already answered you about the quality on this very page. Published weight is accurate, they're 426g on my scale.

Archetypes only weigh 450g.

Archetypes are far superior rims. Use ultralight latex tubes if you're being a weenie about the extra 20g.
