If your headset cups are still in good shape and you don't feel like changing them you can use an internal headset like the FSA Orbit IS or Cane Creek 40-series IS. |

The individual strands that make up a cable do not stretch. The "stretching" comes from the strands pulling tighter together when they are tensioned.
