Hey dude, what is the appeal of half-link chains?

I think that's what Wounded Knee ended up needing to do with his a while back too.

Supposedly they hold up better when doing grinds and all that nonsense. Also, they tend to mesh better with tiny gears, which is why they're commonly used on BMX bikes.

There's nothing you can do with a half-link chain that you couldn't accomplish with a single half-link at a fraction of the cost.

I did go over the areas that seemed to be causing touble. But while I was already there I added the thin rim tape.

Do you really need to use 3M spray glue when installing OURY grips?

They stick fine on a really clean bar for me. I clean even brand new bars with Isopropyl alcohol before install.

Never ever. I've been using WD40 to install grips for about 20 years.

WD40 reacts with rubber in a way that makes it slippery at first, then extremely sticky. Spray some inside the grips, shake out the excess and slide them on your bars (don't forget to poke holes in the ends of the grips or the second one will fill with air). Let them chill for a bit and they won't budge.

Really? I never knew WD-40 worked that way. Once I get the grips on I'll throw some pics of the final product up.

Damn, I used the zip tie method and it sucked. Manage to snap two bye trying to pull them out afterwards. Will do this when I buy a new pair along with urban assaults. BTW, what do you mean by the second one will full with air? Why not the first one too? Lol

Because one end of the bars is still wide open when you put the first grip on.

Scrod do you know if pedal consumption or leader made a custom re finished kagero? i saw a high polish kagero in LA today, i stoped him and it had PC and leader etched in the frame, Kinda like laser engraved but most likely sand blasted.

Much spoke squeezing for destressing? Also, using a screw driver instead of a nipple driver made my hand cramp after a while
