Just built a new front wheel so I could put a brake on, and added some bullhorns...
Have at it...

wheel stickers, valve cap, high flange, brown tape is mismatched but not too bad, headbadge, needs black cage, needs clipless, long excess cable
excellent long and low position
smart/10

http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...g?t=1317504284
black rims, lose the valve caps, black stem, jackass bars, brakeless hipster bonus points, go clipless, ugly saddle and post, meh fork, overrated frame, mediocre tires
also good seating position, just needs brakes and road drops
quite nice/10

http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._6158464_n.jpg
meh on high flange, meh on unused guides, needs a silver cage, lose valve caps, black chainring, try a setback seatpost
those bars are acceptable with the lack of drop
excellent putt around jawn/10

http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/s...e/IMG_8322.jpg
mega jackass rims, needs hoods, saddle tape and straps mismatch, mega jackass frame stickers, high flange, black chainring, single straps would suffice, get frame mounts for cages, brakeless hipster bonus points, get real bottles
another nice seating position, i think youll be quite happy with hoods
hipster rando machine/10

http://i.imgur.com/AvYEl.jpg
high flange, radial lacing, mega funky stem, lose valve caps, get silver stem and post, funny mix of retro and modern
i dig the mixed color spokes
sweet ride/10

your swim team is not doing so hot, bar angle, longer stem, lose the saddle bag, seat looks a bit forward for a frame that size, meh on red nipples
lets see
shimano wheels + low flange + low spokes + caad + rival + wing bars =
much rejoicing/10

All spoke cards have since been removed and the saddle was replaced with a more Fizik Arione styled one. Also, the pink zip tie along the top tube was put there by a friend who was injured in the Ktown accident. Which is why its still there.

I know, right? We have 15 swimmers compared to some of the other teams who have 60+ swimmers. Plus lately a bunch of our guys have been sick.

Glad you like my biek.

I'll play. Clipless pedals will be put on soon, and I need a longer stem.

redpear 10-02-11 05:54 PM

It should be noted that adriano probably doesn't regard to any preliminary defenses and only looks at the picture. I'm not sure though, I just think it's futile to put up a shield from the wrath of adriano.

spoke cards, brakeless hipster bonus points, racing frame as townie points, silver stem and bars, risers, needs bar plugs, very short reach, untrimmed ziptie, sofa saddle, single straps would suffice
i dig it
flashy/10

http://i.imgur.com/LcQDc.jpg
white tires are horrible and inexcusable, wheel strickers, frame branding, fenders look meh because of the horrid tires, no hoods so basically risers, saddle angle, cage location
doze tires.
ladies love it/10

http://i.imgur.com/zV8bL.jpg
colored tires, mismatched tires, colored rims, mismatched rims, needs drops and hoods, trade drop for reach, not a sticker fan, black headset, meh on brooks, mediocre light, white spokes to match your belt hipster points, wheel stickers
i dig the usedness
well loved/10

dsh 10-04-11 09:30 PM

If it changes anything, the back tire is much more pink in person.

I like your bike. Welcome to the forums too.

Is your frame too small for you?

Yeah, welcome. I'm glad this is a first post that isn't "hai guise, how do i has mad skidz?"

Anyhow, I'd actually venture that he/she doesn't know how to set up the bike. Note the slammed post that counter balances the over 9000 headset spacers. If it were too small I think the seat would be sky high too.

Pipbuster, are you getting full leg extensions on your pedal stroke?

Oh hai guise, thanx for the welcome. haha I've actually been lurking for about a week or so, to be honest, when I first registered, I was about to bombard a new thread full of newbie questions.. then as I was going through more recent threads I realized how unforgiving the oldbies are around here! so I went the hard way of using the "google site:bikeforums.net " search method..
The thing with this forum, imo, is it's rather unorganized, stickied threads are years old and never updated. And search function is not of the efficient type, all despite being the most active fixed gear forum I could find..
Anyways, maybe I'll make a constructive thread about how I feel about this forum from the 2 weeks here in hopes of making this an actual starting place for beginners...but it'd then get bashed to no end and steered off to some random topic like oh what had you for dinner last night?".. right? oh hey even the mods join in the newbie-wrenching commotion!

rant aside, I'm a smaller guy at 1m70 (5'7), so this frame is actually right for me, it's a 52cm, or so I was told anyways, how is that measured anyways? haha I do need to adjust the seatpost though, I need to find how to exactly measure that, I'm sure I saw it posted somewhere...hmmm search function here I come...?
 although I'm afraid to post anything, this forum sure has some good laughs

Your rant is bound to piss someone off. This forum is like a big dysfunctional family, but it works for us. And as far as the stickies go, they've been reviewed recently and a few of them got unstickied. The ones that are there have some purpose for being there. Thanks for actually searching though.

You need to be getting full leg extensions without rocking your hips. Sizing often depends on body geometry. I'm 6'5" and I ride a 58cm comfortably. I have a friend that's 6'3" but with legs a mile long that rides a 61cm comfortably. Jack the seat up until it gets you the leg extension you need. If you need the bars all the way up like they are, or if the post comes out before it gets tall enough, get a 54 or 56. I have a feeling you may need a 54 anyhow.

Again, welcome. Be sure to read the "newbs start here" thread, then go google "Sheldon Brown" and educate yourself by reading everything the man ever wrote.

rustybrown 10-08-11 12:54 AM

tl;dr to the both of you. Get outta hurr.

I'm not sure why...but I read your entire post as though you were speaking with this voice:

Also, you should really look into getting some "shift" keys for your keyboard. At least one.
