Fantastic. See new guy, this is some of the hazing to endure. It's just one more way to weed out the soft ones. Our hazing is a defense mechanism. We don't like morons, so we haze the hell out of anyone new to make sure they aren't morons. It's like any other social situation.

lose the valve caps, raise seatpost until heel barely stands on pedal spindle at the farthest point with the leg locked out, get longer stem 100mm plus with drops and hoods, dont lower the bars, dont buy anything else, ride a lot, wear out tires, buy continental vittoria hutchinson panaracer or schwalbe tires

Haha I ride bikes more than I careless about cars. I don't even have a roof rack on my car, I just ride to where i want to go. If I'm lazy I'll stuff it in the back of my car and drive to a place where we would meet and ride.
