I love that show! That's actually how I found out about that restaurant. I had a sandwich there before and I really enjoyed it, but every time I go there it's mostly for the Turkey supper with extra cranberries!!!:thumb:

Nice! What was your cure? I use fine sea salt, white sugar, brown sugar, bay leaves, pink green white and black peppercorns, juniper berries, star anise, and a cinnamon stick or two.

For dinner today: 10oz angus burger with caramelized onions, gouda, bacon, and long hots. With steak fries. And three pumpkin ales. I've been protein-jamming as much as possible this week.

Also have lots of jowl bacon in the freezer. Roommate is probably confused why our freezer looks like a mini meat locker.

Last night I had a seasonal peppermint cliff bar with coffee for dinner. For breakfast I had iced gingerbread cliff bar with coffee. Tonight ill try the pumpkin spice flavor. Im usually an odwalla superfood or super protien bar kinda guy, when it comes to supplement bars. Had to give these a try... not bad.

Since you guys are going I guess I'm going to in n out today instead of having a homemade meal! This week's workload sucked a$$ and I totally deserve it right before me and my wife head out to Irvine tonight to take part in the MS Bay to Bay tour. 150 miles in 2 days; no sweat. The problem now is should we go fast and try to finish in the first group or spend our time learning new people. Decisions, decisions.

What I'm planning to get:
4x2 protein & animal & triple x (extra lettuce, tomato, raw onions) style w/ chopped peppers, extra spread; animal fries w/ extra spread, vanilla shake. My wife and the high school cashiers are going to be going to say "gosh" for sure at the register.

Food trucks are the hot thing around here right now. There are the old roach coaches, and I frequent one or two of those when I'm out riding,

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net..._1515998_n.jpg

but there are also rather upscale ones to appeal to the yuppies: Taco Heads, YES! Tacos, Nammies (Vietnamese), Hot Dog Man, etc. These "new generation" food trucks show up at local hot spots- bars, events, etc.- and serve food that is much more than just roach coach fare; the term "gourmet" is used at times, and the ingredients are often insanely fresh.
