2011 Christmas loot

Let's see those gifts. If you bought it for you or for someone else or someone gave it to you. Post em up.

Ninja turtle gloves for the cold came a couple days early for me.

I know I'm getting a lot of stuff I'll try to return without a receipt. I asked for a mavic helmet for christmas so I'm sure I'll have a nicely wrapped wal mart helmet under the tree for me My families fault is thinking quantity > quality, so I'll end up with a ****load of stuff (and I'm appreciative for someone spending $$ and thinking of me for sure), but most years it's unusable /jerk.

amazon wishlist has made buying for the parents easier. spoiled the gf this year by building her up a 722 as her xmas/bday gift and getting her lots of records, and other crap she wanted. she thinks she's not getting anything else but I got her a new b17 for her bday (2 weeks after xmas) as well.

Can I be your girlfriend?

Doesn't look like christmas is going to be very big on my family this year. I asked my dad to help pay my tuition for spring semester since it increased again, and that's what I want for christmas.
no biek stuff, so I'm going to live vicariously through this thread.

^I also asked for tuition money.

yeah I overdid it for the gf. amazon prime with 1 click enabled made stuff add up a lot quicker than I thought of. Originally I was just getting her the frameset, but I think she kinda forgot that was the arrangement and I'm not sure how to say 'remember... you're going to pay me back for a lot of this'. She's a broke college student too (I'm in college but I'm 27 and work, she's 22). so her gifts to me will be like back rubs, and dinner, and whatnot along with probably something relatively cheap

My dad said he was gonna get all of us iPad 2's and I was like nawwwww gimme cash!

Then I bawd a buncha SRAM bits and winter clothing for myself.

So the money is just gonna sit in my bank account to take the place of the SRAM fees.

Not sure what my siblings got me, but it's probably all unrelated to bikes. My bro asked me what I want for Christmas, but I really don't know what to ask for... any ideas?

I am hoping for a biek stand, but the fiancee's side of the family just likes to dish out cash, and my family is doing secret santa (with a cap at $30).

Five days ago, my wife bought me a used Park repair stand.
Today, another family member gave me a lower quality new one.

Probably going to get my name added to whatever they buy for my wife. Her mother bought her a rocking chair. Might be a good motivator for me, as it represents everything I want to avoid as I get older!

Me too! Though it's been awhile... too busy with school and biek.

I have an EBMM Stingray 5 in translucent teal with a maple fretboard. Love it!

I have been playing bass seriously for about a week now haha, but my ukulele skills have translated over fairly well. Its a peavy millennium bxp, I don't know much about basses but this thing plays/sounds really nice, even compared to some of the expensive basses I've tried!

continental gran prix 4000 pair, bottle cage, and "it's all about the bike" by some dude named robert penn. don't know how that's going to turn out, but it'll be better than reading the same bicycling magazine on the plane ride back home...

and a dewalt compact 18v XRP drill. that was the main attraction

Best. Christmas. Ever. PS. thanks Scrod for the purple snake!
