Ha ha ha...
Some guys at the gym call me Mr. Bourdain. I had them believing that "Tony" was my half brother.
It gets really weird when I wear a sport coat, button down shirt and wire rim sunglasses. People are like, "Hey, you look like that guy!" everywhere I go. Sometimes I just do a salsa style 360° spin and keep walking.

Wspsux Man, some of that looks too rugged for a bike without suspension. And COLD

SquidPuppet Yea, I can't say I always meant to end up where I did, and I cant say it was always fast but The Vaya while not ideal for some of the rougher stuff hasn't let me down yet!
My plans are to build up a 650 wheelset and throw some fatter rubber on there for single track. I'll keep the 700c for road riding and gravel.

That's rad. I went with a freewheel, but I did do some halfassed off-road (meaning relatively smooth gravel trails) on my Zephyr (which is fixed) on Friday.

Riding brakeless on trails is idiotic if you aren't comfortable with the trails, I do these all the time on my cross/mtb so I know when it gets too steep to ride or when it will get too much. I had to walk about half of this decent cause it dropped to like a 16% grade downhill that I was locking up the rear and gaining speed, did like a 20ish mile road ride after about a 15 mile trail ride today, too much fun.
