Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Nah, they're both round and both reach the ground, they're perfect

Now, that white stuff on the ground, we don't get it here, does it affect your riding?

I did 32 miles last night with our scrawny Critical Mass group.

I rode exactly 37 miles today with fellow BFers nkfrench (middle) and Yo Spiff (right) and am sitting at 4000 miles for the year.

Looking back at previous years, I guess the 4000 is my highest yearly total ever, almost 1000 miles more than last year (which was admittedly a disappointing year).

Forgive me, the last ride wasn't ssfg.

Trying to stay still for the timed exposure
