Driving west cross-country 1996, crossed the river and didn't even realize that the arch was there. Made the turn to check it out and there was some huge bar-b-que party going on right there. Labor Day IIRC. I smelled it before I realized what was going on and filled up on tasty meats before the all night drive across Kansas to Denver. :thumb: |

Mumonkan, that photo makes my ride near the industrial wastelands of south Jersey way less interesting (I mean, it's not that interesting to begin with). That looks amazing, though.

I switched out my surly Knards for some Compass 38s. They rule on the street and are decent off road. Today's ride was all about mud drifting.

This is my favorite time of year to be in the south. Perfect temps and the entire region is perfumed with honeysuckle and ligustrum.
