Today was less muddy. However I misgauged my entrance angle while fording a stream today and went over the bars as my tire sank into the muddy bottom.

Went on a 50 mile urban ride with some roadies from the bike team. On the SSCX. Mostly kept up.

These past two rides are a combination of State Park trails, municipal access trails, dirt bike trails and just good ol' secret trails you learn about when you're a kid smoking weed and riding BMX, that I string together in Wayne New Jersey. The Vaya is really an ideal platform for this type of riding and with my new Compass tires it makes the dull bits on pavement a breeze! However I've had to lay off some of the super gnarly stuff I was able to handle with my Surly Knards. I think some Rock n Roads will be ordered after I ride my century in August.

Let's hope he matches his belt and shoes, or the world might explode?

Perhaps after I finish my final exams and have time to shoot it properly.

Badass photo. I'm going to steal all of your strava routes and try to mimic this ride at some point, or at least parts of them.

You've officially done more cycling in northern AZ than I have...I think I need to change that.

San Juan Capistrano.

Let the record show that I am not a god-fearing member of society.

The record does indeed show that, but it could change any second.

I. Love. This.

The funny thing is that there is a city in California called San Juan Capistrano, so I had to look this up.

In hindsight, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that there's also a church (likely more than one) going by that name.

I used to go to the church there every first Sunday of the month
