It's depressing how little of my alma mater I recognized in those pics.

You'd hardly recognize it. The bubbles are milstein hall, the new architecture building, the white tile is Weil hall, a biotech [?] building on the old alumni fields, then there's the johnson art museum with the naked dudes, a back door/loading dock by a dumpster in the parking lot by day hall at the end of tower road, the clocktower background is from the top of Olin library, and the angel door is in the courtyard at sage chapel. I barely left the arts quad. Had a nice conversation with the bike cop I encountered like 5 times while rolling around. Whoops.

Pretty sure that's all of them. When were you a student?

Indy cars were in Toronto this weekend. Seriously awesome to see and hear them in person

(sorry pics are not awesome)

What'd you do if the bike fell into that water? Just saying, a little push or a bigger breeze and it'd sink.

I rode down there on Friday since admission was free. It was definitely awesome to see them in person. The race paddock was so cool to walk through.

Hard to take pics. I've tried at other tracks and also a rally, and they never come out well for me.

Actually I'd bet that bike would float. There's a lot more buoyancy in a tire than you'd expect.

New. Architecture. Building. ??!?!? I spent way too much time crushing on cute architecture boys back in the day. I was there '94-'98. Ag&Life Sciences college, worked at Jansens (which I know doesn't exist anymore, they ****ing tore Noyes Center down a while back. Sadface.)

The new noyes is so nice though. And there is a new jansen's but it's more of a convenience store andlong a dining [plan] hall. I was sad to see it go, but hey, let's be honest, those "class of" buildings sucked. I graduated high school in Ithaca in '98. If you worked at Jansens, I'd bet you knew all those townie punk kids and that guy that lived in the A frame by Ithaca falls. Sam P.,John G., Ben , Marco... I used to sneak in at the loading dock and steal those striped uniform shirts, I don't want to think about what they were, but you couldn't get a stain to set in them. I probably still have one somewhere.

I had a cousin who was a student then too, Mike Lacasse, he was a landscape arch. student who was also on the crew team.

Anyway, if you're ever in town and want to take a stroll down memory lane or something, hit me up.

Hahaha, ****ing Sam Preston! Yes! He is/was crazy. I saw him kinda recently, his band was rolling through Chicago so us old Ithakids all went to his show and said hi. I don't think I have any of those uniform shirts still but yeah I had a bunch of them, and the pants too. I have some great photos of food fights in the dishroom at Jansens to prove you could stain those shirts. :)

Oh man, I was solidly in that I Farm/ punk kids group back in the day, lived across the street from the Fan Club and all that. You know that Arun from I Farm was the official White House videographer for the first couple years of Obama's presidency? I think it's hilarious because we used to get into arguments all the time about voting, he was solidly anarchist and used to argue that you shouldn't vote because it legitimizes an inherently corrupt system... then he goes on to work for the Obama campaign and then in the White House. I've seen pics on Facebook of Obama holding his baby. Crazy.

Anyway, I don't think I remember Mike, I took Landscape Architecture classes my last year or so there... but I wasn't a major just taking the classes for fun.

Woo, Ithaca, I ****ing loved that place. Almost went back in 2000 to go to grad school there, got accepted and stuff, but ended up staying in Texas. I think it's better that way, you can never go home again, you know? It would have been so different without all my people there.

Like I said, I was a bit younger. I went to ACS with Liz Preston and was pretty good friend with Josh Cope's sister, Chenda. I guess take it a sibling down, and you've got me.

Those are pictures I'd love to see. I'm friends with most of them on Facebook, it'd be fun as **** to blow some minds/melt some faces with pictures out of the woodwork.
