Over the summer, I worked really early, and I used to see all sorts of critters being out on the road at 3 am. I had to see at least three deer a week either in the road, or thinking about being in the road. Scared the **** out of me every time.

http://distilleryimage8.s3.amazonaws...0a1d039f_7.jpg I'm part of an electric cargo bike startup and we're finding that one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to use a hub motor is with a 20" front wheel for the extra torque. It'd be a shame to miss out on such a great opportunity. And we're screwing up geometries like whoa. E: The bike on the right that's closest to the camera looks like it's a bolt on conversion. Is this available on the market? |
Had a great little ride last night. Just went for 10 miles around the harbor and peninsula and back to the island. Its starting to cool down so it was very pleasant 65 :)
Here are some pics of the bike while im waiting to cross the harbor from the Island to the Peninsula. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8317/8...6f5a1ab5_z.jpg and one more :) http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8449/8...af834a6f_z.jpg |
Off from work, taking packages to the post office the RIGHT way (someone is having an early ebay christmas). Getting ready to leave:

I don't always ride bikes, but when I do, they weigh more than me.

What can you tell me about those freight bikes? Is there a conversion kit like an xtraccyle, or do you have to heat up the frame and weld/braze a new headtube on?
