Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Dood! It used to have a splash of blue on the frame! That's totally HUGE!!!

(Bold New Graphics used to be code for "We didn't do any significant thing at all with this model in the new model year, so we splashed some different paint on it and call it "New." I.e. marketing sarcasm.)

Color me extremely underwhelmed by Trek's SS/FG offerings...

The bad:

$5,000 - $15,000 track bikes being ridden in street "crits" in Hong Kong...to very bad music.

It still looks one of the few track bikes I can try to mimic my road fit on.

I stand corrected.

When I saw the LOOK 496, I thought it was a bike I saw from Japan. I didn't watch the whole video

I'd agree, except that the retro vintage crankset is totally out of place on that otherwise very modern bike.

Also look at how much they downgraded the spec from 2011 to 2012. From American Classic wheels and an FSA carbon track crankset to alex rims and whatever the hell crankset is on there now. I do like the color better but otherwise major downgrade.
