Jamis has been downgrading their track models for a while now. Same type of deal with the Beatnik and Sputnik.

The Sonik also gained nearly 2 pounds in the process. The crank is an FSA Gimondi, and it's supposed to look like a vintage Campy Record Pista. It's a total styling mismatch with the rest of the bike.

A crit doesn't require (sharp) corners, just being a short circuit that is repeated. I've raced many crits where it was full speed the whole time and never touched the brakes.

I know that the word "colorway" is used in knitting when describing fancy variegated/multicolored yarns.

I love the look of the '12 Sonik and the cut in parts really doesn't bother me. If I was to build a Sonik, I would prefer to use other components such as the crankset and wheels, which look to be the major changes.

I've never been a fan of the carbon FSA (never tried them, just from what I've heard) and I would probably go with something over the American classics. It just makes me want to buy the frame only, which is what I would've preferred anyways.

This year, it seems Giant wants to sponsor "us" for 2012. (Not sure if old)

**** me, its from 2011.

I dont see that one on their site? Just plain colors and a wierd "bubble" design

Fuji also has a SSCX bike similar to the feather.

That black/silver Madison could actually look good if it had matching wheels, drops, and no red

I could make that Fuji on page 1 into something nice. Everything else just looks like the aesthetics were realized by throwing darts at a color wheel.

I kinda think the same way about the white & purple madison. Has the ugly 80's thing going for it which I can kinda dig but everything they put on it looks terrible.
