The Sonik also gained nearly 2 pounds in the process. The crank is an FSA Gimondi, and it's supposed to look like a vintage Campy Record Pista. It's a total styling mismatch with the rest of the bike.

Your cog is slipping.
You guys know the word colorway existed long before skate shoes, John Prolly and other fashionable "boutique" bull****, right?

A crit doesn't require (sharp) corners, just being a short circuit that is repeated. I've raced many crits where it was full speed the whole time and never touched the brakes.

I love the look of the '12 Sonik and the cut in parts really doesn't bother me. If I was to build a Sonik, I would prefer to use other components such as the crankset and wheels, which look to be the major changes.
I've never been a fan of the carbon FSA (never tried them, just from what I've heard) and I would probably go with something over the American classics. It just makes me want to buy the frame only, which is what I would've preferred anyways.
This year, it seems Giant wants to sponsor "us" for 2012. (Not sure if old)
**** me, its from 2011.

i tend to really really dislike the whole hipster tarck look, and part of me thinks i should hate this...but for some reason, a part of me actually likes this build and its "colorway"...
i would never buy/ride it, buuuut i dunno. theres something about this that i can sort of dig.
i also sort of dig those cranks.
lol its funny i thought the exact same about the 2011 madison:
soooo ugly. but. i dont know why. i sort of like it lol....reminds me of those centurion ironmans....
and trust me when i say out of all my bikes i have nothing but black and/or silver components and normal colors

Fresh Garbage
That black/silver Madison could actually look good if it had matching wheels, drops, and no red
