These may have been out a while, but they are the first I've seen them. I think Scott should have named them OMG instead of OTG...

life's rich tapestry, eh? Specs and marketing and authenticity aside, I kinda like how this looks.

Maybe tilt the bars back a bit, tho

My friend's shop carries both of these and I've gotten the chance to ride the white one. On the bright side, the frame is pretty stiff and has some potential with the right parts.

The old shop I worked at started selling Scott bikes right before I left and their sales rep was one of the biggest dip****s I've ever met.
They should have stuck with ski gear.

If they're sponsoring guys who are winning classics, maybe getting into the bike business wasn't such a bad idea. Saying they shouldn't be making bikes because they have two ugly ones and a ****ty sales rep is silly.
Remember all the garbage Langsters? And the lawsuit between Specialized and Volagi? Yet no one seems to question why Specialized is still making bikes...

Do you really even give that much of a crap?
The Scott bikes I've seen in person haven't been anything special and I'm sure those sweet fixies are no exception. Have you ever even seen one in real life?

Do I really care? No, but I think it's kinda lame to say that they should've stuck to making ski gear. They make nice (if boring) bikes.
And no, I've never seen one in real life...of the hundreds of people I've gone on organized rides with, I've never seen a Scott

I commented about the sales rep being a dip**** because when a representative of a company comes in and wastes a shop's time by barely having a clue what he's talking about because he's accustomed to selling ski equipment, that's not a very good impression to leave.

I can back that, but it extends past the industry. Roadies look at me on a fixed gear like I'm some kid riding distance on a BMX bike most of the time. There are some great companies that cater to fixed gear riders, but the reality is that in cycling, fixed gear riding(not track racing) is not taken seriously(by other "serious" cyclists, and bigger companies); just look at all the jackass stock bikes that companies keep pushing out.

I don't disagree that a sales rep should better represent a company, but the fact remains that Scott sells quality bikes. I'd buy one before a Trek or a Specialized.
