Masi Fixed? Fuji Classic Track?

Hey guys.

Super newbie here, looking to get my first fixed gear soon. debating between the Masi Fixed (not uno) and the fuji classic. The reason why i am not looking at the uno is cause the normal Masi fixed is currently on sale at 680CAD, which is the same as the uno. and the fuji is at 530CAD. Any suggestions? thanks.

No experience with the Masi, other than seeing a ton of them. A member here/IRL friend has a Fuji Track Classic and digs it. I've ridden it, and it's a nice bike.

I had a Masi Fixed Ultimate Ltd and loved it. I just have very fond feelings about Masi's stuff, rides very nice and is not too heavy.
Fuji is nice too, but haven't tried the classic.

I have the Fuji and like it. It's got track geo, so it's pretty twitchy. But that also means it's nimble and speedy. I don't know about what kind of ride you get on the Masi or what kind of riding you want to be doing so it's a little hard to answer your question.

jimmytango, I'm not sure that a 6'4" dude riding a 43cm bike with 650c wheels around a parking lot really counts as riding it. LOL.

True, but even with that little bit I could tell that it rides nicely.
