Go straight to hell.

After using the aforementioned one hand method you tighten the lugs with a welder.

Use a tennis ball, not your fist. So you don't get burned.

I have a ceiling mounted vice that I place my front wheel in. Then I hang from the back wheel with one hand, as I tighten the axle nuts with a 4ft breaker bar.
