Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

But surely you notice the performance difference. Less flex. Stiffer. You probably notice something like $300 worth of difference.

The whole purpose of NJS is to make sure that no racer has any advantage due to equipment. Period. This is why they can't use clipless pedals or carbon fiber.

This thread is like 7 years old.... and it's Suntour Superbe Pro cranks. The stamp looks like what it sounds like, a NJS stamp, just google it.
