Added a bottle cage and tool bag with spare tubular tire, mini pump and peanut butter wrench to make the Concept fully road worthy. Heading out shortly for a 40+ mile ride.

Doing that in the morning! But I want to upgrade components as well. Great ride out of the gate though. Thinking about getting a threadless converter for that quill stem though. Any thoughts?

Hmm. Threadless. Well, it won't improve your ride any, but aesethetically a quill stem does look very nice. Lucky for you, the Pista comes with a 1" steer tube which will save you a lot of hassles. (if you had a 1 1/8 inch steer tube, I'd advise against it completely) A threaded stem conversion will also require a threaded headset (easy, might need a bike shop to help with install) as well as a threaded fork. You could convert your unicrown fork for the job by having threads cut, but if you are looking to spend money on new parts anyway, why not look at a lugged fork to complete the job?

Yeah it looks really good. I was just worried about options since most bikes are 1 1/8" threadless these days. I think I'll keep it though. It does fit. Thanks!
