Thanks. I knew where I could buy colored spacers and calculated the space and figured I could do it.

either way, good looking bike.
Ha! I always love this question because you obviously know your mens keirin racing! But do you know your women's keirin racing?

This stem is approved for women's keirin. The women race newer aluminium and composite bikes with newer components.

First of all, his bike has a threadless setup.

Secondly, you really thought all quill stems and threaded headsets are NJS certified?

Yes, obviously. I never said otherwise.

I mistakenly though all njs stems were quill, and thus threaded headsets. I saw that his was a threadless headset and not a quill stem, thus my question.

I said I though all NJS certified stems were quill, not that all quill stems were NJS certified.

Whatevs, it was late, poor wording or my part.

I came home late from bike party last night pretty happy, if you know what I mean, and I knew what you meant. Yes, all NJS approved stems for mens keirin are quill. Also......

Thoughts on a Bohemian Fixie?

I just thought I'd share my custom Trek T1 that's known as "Voskhod" amongst me, family, & friends. Any particular comments? It is a unique bike.

A place for everything and everything in its place.
Or perhaps bohemian fixies with grandiose names are just too special.

I don't get it. Is it a "green" lighthouse that hosts avant-garde theatre at 4:30am on Thursdays and is owned by a cork-shoe maker?

A better question is what makes this bike so "unique" ? Or, is it simply that nobody else's biek haz da samez stickerz ?

It's actually custom painted, and top-tube leaning features permanent. Originally looked like this:

Picked up another bike off Craigs on Saturday. I have a problem and it's SS/FG's fault.

Pedals, seat and bar tape will all be changed. Then much polishing.
