SWOBO Sanchez
They're back in business and selling Sanchez frames. Anybody have experience with these frames? Back when the former iteration of SWOBO was in business I saw some at Mello Johnny's and they looked good.

My neighbor has one and it is pretty awesome. Its fun to ride around. The thing is a tank and would make a great everyday bike

I tested out a blue Sanchez once. I liked it but I bought a surly steamroller instead. The swobo seemed like a fine bike, I just liked that the surly could run a wide range of tires. The surly also fit me a bit better.

I don't know if it's different from the one I got for my wife or not, but the one we have is solid. I got her one on clearance from department of goods, a big plus was the sloping top tube on their smallest size frame since she's on the short side.
It is a little on the heavy side, but heavy is good...heavy is reliable. The frame itself doesn't seem to bad, I think it's the wheels that make it heavy. The stock headset did have an issue, one of the pieces was bent out of shape, but we managed to make it fit.

A friend got one online and asked me to set it up for her (Simple to put together, took 20 mins) Bike felt strong and stiff enough, wheels came true, decent components for the price, It had a bottle opener on the saddle, that was great. Solidly built bike. I would buy one for myself if my budget fit.
