That is porn for sure. English makes incredible frames that are unique.

It seems like reinventing the wheel for no good reason.
Don't get me wrong, it looks to be incredible craftsmanship, and I do actually like the artwork on it, alot. But the single sided rear triangle, the single blade fork, EBB, rear brake, stem mount, etc. Very much a form over function thing, just being different for the sake of being different. That is the JA part in my opinion. |
i wouldnt call it porn but its not jackass either
that drivetrain is freaking me out |
I feel like if you were standing up, sprinting on that thing, it would have a weird imbalanced feel to it.

Fair enough.
Also, thinking outside of the box like this can lead to useful innovation. This sort of thing is not without merit i suppose. |

There is a great write up about it on his site I think where he talks about reasoning behind it all. The assymetric stays are cool because you can change a flat without taking off the wheel and the hub is so you dont have to have a break in the frame for the beltdrive. I believe he also said the bike was not as flexy as you might believe it to be. There were more reasons but thats all I can remember at this point.

Eccentric bottom brackets are awesome alternatives to track dropouts. Especially if you're running a rear brake, so you don't have to adjust it every time you change ratios.
And rear brakes below the bottom bracket is way cleaner looking. I think I remember seeing a carbon road bike with some very minimalist canti's mounted on the backside of the fork and it was very clean looking too. |

Can't say. I was in a similar incident once for a different reason, I was in a daze for a few minutes and the front end of the bike was ****ed. But damn, I have only seen drunk riders slam into a parked car like that.

Sure it is. If he had been actually looking at the road, he would've had more than enough time to see a parked car in front of him. That's exactly what happens when fools don't pay attention.

Dude, have some sympathy. Result being that you're the one who will live longer, healthier and happier, and it's a safe bet that nearly everyone here wants to see that.

Duct tape solves everything

Sympathy, empathy, whatever it might be, that was funny as hell. I hope he did not hurt anything other than his pride, but it was funny and he was being a fool. If he is lucky, his foolishness was or is temporary.
To each his own, I guess. Here, laugh it up: List of professional cyclists who died during a race |
almost every one of those are "collided with a truck during training"
